Hannah Ray is a Cape Town-based singer-songwriter whose music blends soulful pop, dance-pop, R&B and cinematic storytelling. Having begun songwriting at the age of 13, she officially launched her recording career in 2024 and has quickly built a reputation for emotionally resonant songwriting, captivating live performances, and a growing international audience.

 

Since her debut, Hannah has released a string of singles that have connected strongly with listeners in South Africa, the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Her music combines heartfelt lyricism with contemporary pop and dance influences, creating songs that are both deeply personal and widely relatable.

 

As a live performer, Hannah has appeared on major stages across Cape Town, including Rocking the Daisies, and opened for acclaimed artists Jordan Ward and Mereba. In 2025, she performed at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival's Free Concert at Greenmarket Square, introducing her music to one of the city's largest festival audiences.
